I've used these caps on 4 of my vehicles. I did have a spring get soft after a few years of use, but it was cheap to replace. Much nicer than using a traditional cap.

Replaced my radiator and put this guy on too. It's good quality and best of all, on my 95 Chevy 5.7 liter this lever allows me to pop the radiator open even when it's hot, because the pressure blows back into overflow tank instead of melting my skinny ass. So that's nice.

I tried Auto zone cap and they all leaked fluids. This is probably has the right pressure settings and works perfectly in my 2000 Chrysler Voyager 3.0 . No more loosing fluid.

The wrong size cap had been put in, although it seemed to fit, a mechanic told me it did not fit right and that was why my old suburban didn't work well. I didn't think it would help, but bought this one just in case. We now have heat! Item very well made!

Better than its look alike.....
Bought this to replace the off brand (murray) radiator cap bought from the local auto parts store. The Murray which does share a few similarities (but not many) is by far a lesser version of this. Don't let the looks or belief of them being 2 peas from the same pod fool you. I did a decent comparison between the 2 & this is a real winner. The Murray began leaking within a few weeks of purchasing & the tab on it did not work as it was supposed to (it only helped to unlock but not release the pressure). This Stant version uses rivets instead, a slightly thicker gasket set, the red plastic lever is beefier & the metal is of better construction. It held tighter, fit better (even on a replacement radiator) & does not seem to be discoloring (installed several months ago). Well worth the upgrade from a conventional radiator cap.

Fits my 03 Dodge Dakota just fine.
Using this in a 2003 Dodge Dakota V8 4.7l. The OEM is 18 PSI but I did a radiator change due to a stress crack and figure since it's over ten years old I would drop the thermostat temp by 20 degrees and the pressure by 2 PSI to take a little stress off the system and hopefully prevent any cracks in the heater core and make sure the radiator lasts longer than the OEM one.

Bought this to replace the basic stant radiator cap that failed after 6 months on my 1997 Jeep Cherokee XJ. It had started leaking for no reason when I put it back on one day. This new one works fine and eliminated the leak.

This radiator cap fits my radiator snugly.
This new radiator cap fits my radiator in my Dodge Grand Caravan snugly. My mechanic told me that I was losing anti freeze from under the cap. I haven't seen one of these caps with the lever to relieve pressure in years. I haven't lost any anti freeze since I installed this cap. I am very happy with my purchase.

Consider this part if your GM has poor heat.
My Buick Terraza minivan was not getting proper heat to the passenger cabin. This is a common problem with these GM vehicles. Getting and keeping the air out of the cooling system is key. Between replacing the original radiator cap and using the Lisle no-spill funnel http://www.amazon.com/Lisle-24680-Spill-Free-Funnel/dp/B00A6AS6LY , I was finally able to get the heat working properly again.
