The Brontosaurus, otherwise known as Sir Hippie Highneck was often seen carrying several hair elastics around his wrist for times of battle. Frequenting forested areas where small prey are easy to come by, these elastic-wearing dinosaurs can also be found in nightclub bathrooms holding each other’s hair while one vomits into the toilet. This is the first ‘social skill’ we see in the dinosaur world leaving us to wonder - would they have made good pets if they hadn’t become extinct?

Hair can be preserved in the fossil, at least feathers did

actually certain fossils do show signs of hair, or feathers, either by imprint, scraps of it, because not all fossils are purely skeletons or imprints, or by a dark outline around them, as was the case with fossils found to have died of CO2 poisoning at what used to be a lake, aparantly it builds up deeper in, and when the lake was disturbed it occasionally let out a burst of lethal gasses killing every animal by or above the lake, and due to the bottom of said lake being completely deprived of all oxygen, the fossils preserved very well, and scavengers like fish did not feast on the remains, the anaerobic bacteria that did eat of them however created a protective layer further preserving the carcasses then that lake in Germany filled in over a span of millions of years, and voila, source: YouTube: PBS eons (i highly recommend it)

animals of the clade dinosaurae all have had some kind of feathers, but most non-avian dinosaurs only had the stuff baby chickens were covered
